Free Confidence Building Weekend for Blind & Visually Impaired Youth May 1 to May 3
The Association of Blind Citizens (ABC) is sponsoring a free weekend camp in Dover, New Hampshire for legally blind youth between the ages of 12-16 on May 1 to May 3. ABC is a not-for-profit all- volunteer organization that provides programs and services for the blind and visually impaired community. This program is an outgrowth of our experience in operating camps for blind children. Participants will spend the weekend enjoying group activities that will enrich the way they experience their surroundings! The trainers will engage the students with activities to help them build self-confidence. Activities being planned include an introduction to circle dancing, Yoga, recreational time in the indoor pool and adaptive games. Additionally, a local excursion to explore Mini Golf and an Arcade with over 50 games is planned. This will be a weekend of learning about new and fun activities and a chance to meet new friends. The program will take place the weekend of May 1 to May 3, 2026. Transportation from Boston will be provided.
