Max found the Renegades when Justin Manjourides gave a presentation at a SABR seminar in Boston. Max fell in love with the idea and quickly joined the volunteer staff of the Renegades. His love of baseball, helping people and stats were a great fit for the team. In July, 2017, he got a chance to talk on a podcast with some of his SABR peers about Beep Baseball.
