Association of Blind Citizens Holiday Lunch

The Association of Blind Citizens will hold its annual Holiday Luncheon on December 2nd,  2023, at Amerhein’s Restaurant  located at 80 West Broadway, South Boston, 02127.

If booking the Ride, ask to arrive at 12:15 and be picked up at 3:00 PM.  For information on specific MBTA routes, please contact them for detailed information. 

The luncheon menu will include a variety of lunch salads, burgers, sandwiches, and entrees.  All meals include coffee, tea or soft drink. Lunch will be served at 12:15 PM.  A cash bar will be available for you to purchase your favorite alcoholic drink.  You will be responsible to pay for your alcoholic beverages or dessert.  The luncheon banquet room will open at 12:00 PM and close at 3:00 PM.

Be part of a traditional Yankee Swap. If you wish to participate in the Yankee Swap you must bring a new wrapped gift valued at fifteen dollars.  Participation is optional.  Please be sure that your Yankee Swap gift is new and valued at fifteen dollars.   

ABC’s holiday luncheon is free for the blind community.  Bring your family or friends and be part of this memorable holiday event.  Children under the age of 15 need ABC’s prior approval to attend this event with parents.  Please be sure to notify us with the names of all of the guests in your party. 

Register by replying to this email at or call 781-961-1023 and leave a message with your name, telephone number and the names of guests in your party.  You must register by 5:00 PM on November 25.    This is a sit-down luncheon and seating space is limited so please make a reservation.  If you need to cancel your reservation,  please cancel by noon November 30th so we can add guests from the waiting list.   Please email or call 781-961-1023 with cancellations or questions.  ABC will not be able to accommodate individuals that try to attend the luncheon without an advance reservation.  Please do not contact the restaurant with questions but contact us as noted above.
